| Re: Best Data DSL Modem and Qwest.net service why are you using an XP software bridge though? shouldnt need it at all. does your modem have a built in NAT? or a built in sharing setup? if it is just a base modem then you should change your NIC to obtain IP automatically. I keep wondering from what you are saying that the modem has an IP.... is it a router/modem? modems usually do not have an IP that you can access.
