aight same as my surfboard for the most part. change nic, delete all setttings, just make it to it obtains automatically. get rid of XP gateway or whatever, dont know what it is, but if 2k does not need it then neither does XP. go then to IE and go to tools/ internet options/ connections/edit or setup. create one over lan, no proxy settings at all!, there should be no checks on the proxy page. but make sure it knows yer over a lan. and you should be good.
