The Cisco 678 is worth the money if nothing else for the ease of setup. Check the QWEST site (»www.qwest.com) and see if they are still rebating the 678. They had a deal going to rebate $145 after 45 days of service, which gets the price right pretty quickly! |

For what it's worth, rumor has it that Q is going to start "leasing" modems w/DSL... but I don't think that starts till the end of the month... and I'm not even sure it applies to the Cisco's... they're trying to get the testing done on the next generation... the Arescom 1000 series (1060 I think)... and start the "lease" promotion with them.
