Just curious....what is the significance of the number of rings while running the BHN speed test. I did a speed test from an old tablet and there was only 1 ring, 2 Mbs was the down load, if I do it from my desktop, I think I see 8. = 17Mbps.
The rings appear in the "Testing Latency" stage of the test. It's measuring how long before it receives a PONG from the server (latency). It has nothing to do with DL/UL speed.
In fact, I don't think number of rings has much to do with the actual latency, either. I've always interpreted it as simply a pretty animation. That fewer rings appear on the tablet may just be a browser oddity.
Aprel thats close....in reality they are eye candy for the actual test you describe and nothing more. What I tell people is ignore the flash pay attention to the final result.
