Re: Newegg...Fun place to shop...Or is it?

first off it was your mistake for getting that msi instead of being patient and getting the soyo board. newegg was still kind enough to send you the replacement part before you send in the bad board. and honesltly, i hate to sound like a dick but, i don't think you should get the soyo sorry. you should have waited guy

but then again it's not my decision. i'm sure newegg will take care you just fine.

I don't know - I like Soyo as well, but I certainly couldn't say the MSI Ultra ARU is a 'mistake'. Really, the boards are both very stable and high quality (bummer you got a bad one - that's the first DOA MSI that I've read about.)

The only significant differences that really stand out between the two is that the Soyo has the flash card reader and comes with the front mount USB's, which are very cool. The MSI supports Bluetooth, a feature that probably won't be used often.

Other than that, the MSI is selling for about $32 less, which, IMHO, makes it an outstanding value for what your getting.

I'm sure Newegg will take care of you and get you the parts you want, but I don't think you made bad choices to begin with.

I have called them 3 times asking them an approximate date/time when the Soyo board will be available...They said "We don't know"

Have I known the board should be in within the next 2 days, I would have waited...But I'm not willing to sit and stare at half a computer taking up half of my room
