I placed my order in May, only took them 2 days to bill my account, but after waiting a month they told me my local phone company could not handle another dsl line, and they told me I can cancel the order for a full refund which I have not yet seen. It has now been almost 2 months and it looks like from what I read here I will not be getting my money back. $379.90 is not something to laugh off. It's they just don't care. They take your money and after that they don't want to hear from you again. And forget about refunds, you will never see it, you have to really fight with them to get it. I have complained to the Better Business Bureau and will make my next complaint to the General Attorney. This is something they should not be able to get away with. For those of you that have gotten the DSL from PSN with no problem are lucky. But for those like me who have been screwed, something has to be done about it.
A suggestion I have since gotten Cable Modem and its great, no wait for installation and its fast. I would reccomend this before DSL. | |
Anon | Small claims court
Have you looked into your state's Small Claims Court ? In IL it used to be that a corporation had to be representedby a lawyer in SCC.
1. If they don't pitch up, any claim you make is going to be awarded.
2. If they do, it will cost them an arm and a leg in any case.
Unfortunately the SCC will not collect the claim for you, but a lien or two might be useful.
The publicity of a few cases such as these will soon come to haunt them. | |
