| Befsr41 v2 - reset / loooong reset? Pressing the reset button does not reset my settings (password, and other settings are not reset), I have tried holding the button from 10 seconds upto 1 min.
The only way to reset is to choose the "restore factory defaults" in the password screen - »192.168.1.1/Passwd.htm
I have flashed back to version 1.37 from 1.42.7 and it is the same, pressing the reset button on the router does nothing.
Can anyone else confirm this behavior? |

Lancaster, CA | I have had this happen before myself. Unplug the router for 30 seconds or so, plug it back in, and then try. |

like Jiminey said, unplug the router for about 30 secs... or hold the reset button in their for about 45 secs... That should do it...
Check the diag light while holding the reset button, if it doesn't light up indicating it's resetting, it means the reset button doesn't work. |

| Unplugged the linksys for 2 hours, held the reset button for 45 secs, diag light is fine.
Still the same nothing resets with the reset button.
One thing I do notice, if I reset the router with the reset button the diag light goes solid red for 6 seconds and if I use the "restore factory defaults" option the diag light goes solid red for 8 seconds. |
