| It might not be that bad. Sega Dreamcast was really the first console to support online gaming, and most of the games only worked with a 56K modem. They did release a broadband adaptor, but only a few games work with it.
In any event, the 56K modem works fine for all the online sports games I've played like NFL2k1, NCAA2k2, NBA2k1, Tennis 2k2, etc. |

| reply to TrustedZero i bought my xbox precisely because it came with a built in NIC and will only support broadband users. i don't want to play games that have to keep 56k users in mind when they design the games online play, i've got some bandwidth and i want my games designed to make the most of it...
we'll see how my decision works out here pretty soon, but i have a feeling i will find out i made the right choice |
