It seems that the "anything goes" attitude is right across the internet. It's like the wild west was 100 years ago.
I hope those who paid up in error get a class action law suite against VeriSign and get their money back plus give VeriSign a whole bunch of grief and expense. Maybe that will make other companies think twice before trying a similar scam.
I keep getting similar junk but not from anyone who looks legitimate enough to make me think twice before junking it. |
