USA | Delete McAfee Online?? - YES I have had it!
For two years I was satisfied with McAfee Online but their most recent upgrade pushed the limit!
Corrupt Java Scripts, Pop-Up ads, bundled system tools, autoload of Task Scheduler, resource hog, conflicts with programs, inability to customize, what else do I have to endure. NOTHING!!!!!
Today, McAfee gets the Boot! I am going to give AVG a try. It appears to be well designed, comprehensive, resident, full featured and a cost effective  AV tool.
My McAfee subscription terms in Oct and that will be it for them, one more lost customer for NA. Their product and web site seem to be for the computer illiterates of the world, forcing you to utilize the software their way or no way. And, those damb pop-up's, jeez!

Re: Delete McAfee Online?? - YES Just to add my two cents...I just gave McAfee ActiveShield (ViruScan OnLine) the boot too!
It was making my system slow with the last two engine upgrades (mouse would hesitate all the time).
I've installed Norton Antivirus 2002 and I running smoothly now and I also have improved my System Resources...I'm at 85% at boot up as compared to 80% with McAfee.
I tried to fix McAfee with the help of Online Help and even a nice phone tech support guy tried to figure it out but couldn't find what could be wrong.
I've used McAfee for like 5-6 years with no problem (and really liked it) but they changed something that just wont work with my computer so I HAD to move on.

I got rid of McAfee about 2 years ago after using their AV for like 5 years. Five years of constant troubleshooting and tweaking just to get it working half way!
I started with version 4.01 and 15 updates/upgrades later, they still had bugs, glitches, and general resource hogging.
After manually removing McAfee from all of my machines, there was a 100% difference for the better. I couldn't believe how well my machines were running afterwards!
I went back to NAV and never looked back. I started using NAV when it wasn't so popular like it is now. Back then, NAV was getting bashed left and right, but I stuck with them and they now have a kick-ass AV.
