Static IP's or Dynamic

Greetings Users,
I was just wondering if anyone could tell me about the IP address they have been given by WOW? Does it seem to be static? If not, what are the lease arrangements? Just wondering, I've got Comcrap now with a dynamic IP address that changes maybe once or twice a year.

Any info would be great.
Thanks in advance,
Rob

Re: Static IP's or Dynamic

The IPs are dynamic unless you pay about $10 / month extra for a static IP.

I haven't had the service long enough to determine how frequently the dynamic addresses change. My lease starts out at 4 days.
