Welcome to the HughesNet/Direcway Sat Forum - Start Here

Welcome to the BBR HughesNet/Direcway Satellite forum.

Please read the FAQ before posting! Thanks.

This forum is for discussion concerning all forms of Direcway Satellite Internet connection, including (but not limited to) DirecPC, DirecWay, EarthLink Satellite Service, Ground Control, SkyCasters, LinCsat and other VARs. It is not a forum for discussions pertaining to DirecTV, Dish Network.

Discussions about other Satellite Providers is welcome as well. That would include Starband, C-band (and its clones) and WildBlue.

Many of the discussions have been compiled into a well-organized FAQ that you can easily look through for answers to common questions. Included are Tweaks to maximize your satellite internet connection speed, in-depth information about networking your connection and a wealth of other useful information.

If you don't find your answer there, try a forum search. In the upper right of the main forum page fill in a keyword that you'd like to search for and hit 'Enter'. On the following page you can refine the search to include only topic headings or all text.
