You wanted a place for Buyer-Seller Reviews and here it is! Reviews may be submitted to Matt or myself via IM and after review, will be posted into 1 of 3 categories. "The Good" will obviously be for good reviews. "The Bad" will be for sales that didnt go quite as expected,meaning the purchased item wasnt what you expected,arrived broken,arrived late,payment problems,etc. "The Ugly" will be reserved for users who didnt hold up their end of the bargain and either didnt pay the seller or didnt send a purchased item to the buyer.
Users submitted for either a "Bad" or "Ugly" review will be allowed a short response to their review if desired.
Keep your reviews as short as possible. There will be NO flaming,NO use of real names,EMail addresses or home addresses! In other words,just post the facts as related to your experience as a buyer or a seller here along with the username of the person you have dealt with in this forum.
From here on in this is where to find and post your reviews. DO NOT start a thread with a user review or it will be nuked.One of the reasons we are trying this is to help keep everything in one place. This is a trial run and if it works it stays, and if its abused, it goes. Happy Reviewing! Enjoy!

After several more daily emails and IM's to him, I didn't hear from him until 4 days later, when I threatened to leave a bad review. He promised a Paypal payment by that evening, but I only get a another IM asking for my Paypal ID, which I have supplied several times before. That was the last I heard from him. The bottom line is I am out a CD-RW drive and two weeks later have still received no payment. I have a record of all the IM's for this transaction. I hope to still resolve this situation, and if he does eventually pay me, I will update this post. But I think I should warn others who may do business with him.

He said he would and thats been roughly 2 weeks ago. Talked to him again last wednesday and he said he would scan it at work(no scanner at home) on friday. OK fine. now its tuesday and still no replies to my IMs. I'm sorry to have to do this Networkdewd but my patience does have its limits.

Well, here I am a month and a half later with nothing and no contact from him. Email and IM's are not responded to at all. Would love to think I'll actually get the items but the chances are remote at this point. I would certainly avoid doing business with this person ever again. At worst I guess I'm out 50 dollars and a lot of time and heartache. Don't waste your time or money on this person.

Anyway, long story short: no contact from Scott, no response to IM's, and at this point he has my check. I actually stumbled across a post by him in the help forum asking how to block IM's. I'd advise against any business with this one.

Netmatrix as reviewed by Maranello: Bought an AMD XP 1800+ from seller. Was said to be "professionally" unlocked and in working condition. Seller said he sent the XP on 1/3, arrived to me on 1/14. The date it was sent was really 1/10. Arrived to me badly packaged. Cpu was in a plastic CPU holder the retail CPU's come in. Plastic holder/CPU were placed in a Fedex envelope and sent to me with no other protection for the CPU. Arrived with thermal putty surrounding the CPU core and still locked. I removed a CPU from a running board and replaced it with the 1800+ only to find that it was DOA. Comunication with the seller through pm's is horrid. Five days after trying to contact the seller i received an email basicly saying he warned me it might be DOA. At no time did he indicate the CPU might not run. He said several times that it was working when he pulled it from the system it was in. Stay far away fron NetMatrix if you value your time and money.
mikey2007 reviewed by shortckt: Bought a CTX 20" monitor from mikey2007 on 7/28/02. He stated in the FS thread and email between us prior to sale that it was only 2 yrs old, like new condition, and he would pack it properly for shipment. The monitor arrived DOA and badly packed, but no outside damage other than a broken hinge on a small door. I notified UPS and they picked it up for inspection. UPS Claims Department told me that mikey2007 was uncooperative when they contacted him for info. When UPS sent the monitor back to him he refused to accept it. Then he emailed me to say that UPS found no damage to the monitor or the package, and that he had fulfilled his obligation and the monitor now belonged to me. What UPS actually did was refuse to pay him the insurance claim because the monitor was badly packaged (not meeting their minimum packing requirements) and they could not determine if it was working before shipping or damaged by shipping. Since mikey2007 can't collect the $400 insurance he placed on this monitor he is walking away from this transaction as if it never happened. I know mikey2007 has several good reviews here at BBR/DSLR but at some point he decided that a few bucks are worth more than his reputation.

I just wanted to let you know, that I sent $400 to the dslreports forum member jzakhar back in May of 2002 for a snap server. He advertised the equipment on dslreports. He cashed the check in early June. I spoke to him once on the phone in mid June and he assured me he would send the equipment. He never sent it. I have sent him a registered letter which he received. My attorney also sent him a letter. He has not responded. I wanted to give him ample time to make good before I gave him a bad rating. At this point, I feel he deserves a bad rating.
