| Bet you have never had this problem with BEFW11S4
I have the BEFW11S4 wireless router running an older firm ware version. I downloaded the latest one. I flash the router and it say everything is good. Now, here is the weird part I type admin to enter the config screen If I click on the password tab, there are 16 dots already there for user name and password, of which I did not enter When I select my PPPoE plan, the part where you enter the login name is blank like it should be, but the password once again is filled with 16 dots I have reset the router, unplugged it, done just about everything, and no better result I can reflash to an older version and everything is like it should be.
The router is Version 1, not Version 2 Your assistance is urgently needed.
Thanks Trey

| Is everything working or not ?
If your problem is the 16 dots, that's normal, they fill the password portion so that if someone look over your shoulder, they would not know that it is a 3 letter password or 6 letter, etc. It is a common thing these days. |
