If you have BellSouth ADSL, make sure you type your user name as xxxxxxx@bellsouth.net. Also, make sure you set your internet connection to never dial a connection, and obtain an IP address automatically. The Linksys manual and website goes into details on how to do these steps.

| reply to LinkTech Ive tried that numerous times. Im not completely sure ive done it completely right though. Ive been also that you are not suppose to put that info in. Ive been told to leave it blank. Ill give it another try though. If anyone else has any other ideas I'd appreciate it. thanks |
