Problem with downloading on a router... help!

I recently started using a Linksys BEFSR41 router and whenever i have more than one download going at the same time, all the bandwidth seems to focus on one download, rather then sharing the bandwidth evenly throughout all the downloads. Anyone know why this is happening? Im on Rogers High Speed Cable by the way...

Usually it depends on the site you are downloading from not always the site will split the bandwidth evenly. Most times one download will go faster then another. Usually the first one will go faster the second slower.

Mostly due to taking bandwidth from first download to facilitate the second. I suggest you download one at a time since you are not gonna get your files any faster by downloading simultaneously.
