What Bill Gates needs to do is change the name of his company to MaxiSquash because that is what he has done to everybody else. Once IBM selected the PC platform that they were going to use Bill Gates was GUARANTEED to become the richest man in the world.
Too bad that the government failed to break up IBM. Bill Gates would still be a small player if not for the mentality that IBM is the only company that makes computers and Allen-Bradley is the only company that makes motor controllers.
As a side note, IBM, MaxiSquash, and Allen-Bradley do make good stuff, but I have had too many problems with Allen-Bradley creating Spare Parts Conspiracy problems and not wanting to fix servo computers. |
