RocktagonSlightly BentPremium join:2000-11-04 Chattaroy, WA | Just upgraded to Version 3.5h I don't know if the previous version was the culprit also as I just ran the new Ad-aware today. I upgraded and ran Ad-aware again and had 12 new onflow references and ZA asked if I wanted to allow Onflow Stup Installer and Onflow Player to connect to the Internet, well.......NO! The program appears to be working but when I reboot we will see. If it doesn't IOLO get's some mail. -- Quest for Knowledge

The company might not listen, but after thousands of people are sending them email, they might open their ears more. Thanks! -- Please Help Me! My Recycle Bin is Messed Up! |

| reply to Rocktagon Grrr, another onflow victim I certainly don't remember giving permission for that to be loaded on my machine. I particularly don't like the fact that it leeches through IE thus rendering ZA blind to it.:(
It looks like the onflow servers are going to find a happy home in my special host table. |

| Ok flippant, teach us. Onflow servers in special host table? Is that security-restricted sites and the url entered? or something else. Might want to start a new post and lay out the details for us. R2- not sure, I uninstalled and installed the new one to be sure. -- Tamiflu (rx) works for the real flu, but $$ your HMO won't tell you and if you don't know about it to ask.... www.tamiflu.com |

| Rxdoxx, I use a "special" host table to block ads. It is quite simple, yet ingenious. Any ad server you don't want to access goes in your host table with a 127.0.0.0 corresponding address. We all know that the host table is used before the DNS, so the ad-server is found in my host table and of course no files are served from 127.0.0.0. It leaves a bunch of placeholders on my web pages, but I have gotten used to that.
