Go to Internet Options, either from the IE Tools menu or the Control Panel, connections, settings, advanced and make sure that the two boxes are unchecked there. -- Sometimes the simplest solutions are overlooked. Join the DSL Reports SETI@Home club. Put your unused clock cycles to work! |

| reply to Anon Yeah, it should have a checkmark on it for that. If not, you can go into DialUp Networking and change it there. Disable the idle and the thing that says 'Disconnect when connection may not be needed'
(Right-click on the RASPPPoE connection and click Properties, then choose the 'Dialing' tab) |

 Anon | reply to Aladrin yes..after uninstalling almost everything like you guys said RasPPPoE finnally worked. its much better than WinPoet thx guys. i have a minor question though: every time i close my browser a message window pops out asking if i want to close the connection..(obviously i dont) since its kinda annoying, is there anyway i can disable this message? |
