A short explanation why and links to the fan would be appreciated. Here's mine : I use the Sunon because they offer a a good CFM to noise ratio. Not loud, just right. And they can be purchased with a motherboard connector. -Ball Bearing Fan -2900 rpm +/- 10% -80x80x25mm -35 CFM of Air -33 dba This will help future OC'ers and BBR users find info on what 80mm case fan we prefer and think are the best. -- ◊◊◊◊◊◊

I also have 2 of those chieftec fans that came with my case sucking air out and a top 92mm blowhole with a 30cfm fan. -- The sticker on the side of the box said "Supported Platforms: Win 95,Win NT 4.0 or better", so clearly Linux was a supported platform. - Andras B.

I have been happy with them. I have the 2 SmartFan's as my front intake and rear exhaust, and a 8025a as a side intake and the other as a top exhaust. I am still not sure if this is ideal as I have been looking to a bigger top blowhole, but at 1.85 vcore I don't go over 44c at load, which I feel is acceptable. If this doesn't drop come winter I may have to look elsewhere. I was going to try another type of fan because I was only running 2 for a while, and needed 2 more, but settled on the Tt cause they seem to have one of the best cfm:dba -- AXP 1800+ AGKGA-Y unlocked ; IWiLL XP333-R ; 256mb Kingston DDR333 ; Visiontek Xtasy GeForce3 Ti200 (oc'ed) ; 40gb Maxtor D740X 7200RPM ---- "OverClocked and Ready To Burn!" ----

I'm currently using the "cheapie" $5 fans from »www.kdcomputers.com/eui/prime/pr···nent.htm . A pair of them for case cooling, and a 92mm fan to cool my 10,000 rpm SCSI drives. They move a LOT of air (2800 RPM 126CFM 43dBA) at a VERY reasonable amount of noise. I RARELY have to turn them all the way up. -- These opinions are strictly my own. However, if you really want them, we can negotiate.
