Jammy, yours is a very common question, with many varied opinions. We each can only speak from our own personal experience.
I use the same AV as yourself, and I supplement it with TrojanHunter (TH) by Magnus Mischel, which I think is an excellent product, although it doesn't have as large a trojan database as TDS-3 or BOClean. TH, TDS, and BOClean are all excellent choices, IMHO.
TDS is the most sophisticated and advanced antitrojan on the market, but some like yourself find it intimidating to use, where others say it works just fine right out of the box, with its default configuration. Since you're running XP, resources aren't as much of a problem as on my Win98SE, where TH Guard (the resident part) uses only about 2% system resources -- whereas TDS with execution scanning activated would use about 12% resources.
Both TH and BOClean are "set it and forget it" types of tools. It's up to you, I think TH costs $34.95 and is available as 30-day free trial. TDS is available as a trial version, although I think execution scanning is only activated with the registered version.  :) | |

|  Thanks Randy! Many people here at BBR have praised Trojan Hunter but I just wanted to be sure . .I "am" a skeptic after all, lol.
The reason that I feel that I need a good Anti-Trojan is because I managed somehow to catch two Trojans two months ago on my XP 1900 (NO . . .not Windows XP! I run Win 98 se on both of my boxes) . . .one a Telnet Trojan that somehow I caught from telnetting to my university's library on my other box (T-Bird) and some other Trojan. My T-Bird has had no Trojans (so far!). Believe it or not, this was the first time I have ever caught a Trojan!
I need a program that I can install on BOTH of my boxes and not have to worry about having to buy two licenses or two programs and one that will remove any Trojans if found.
