Re: Digital Cable not getting some channels

If I could I would rather get DirecTv, but I have 3 tv's and I would have to get three receivers plus my powerlink would be more expensive and I would end up paying a lot more.

Well just like clock work Adelphia didn't show up for the "All Day Appointment". So I wasted one of my vacation day sitting on my ass waiting for the so called techs to arrive and install my digital cable. I called at 4:45 and they said I was still scheduled for Friday. What a bunch of lying sacks of $#$%%. Thanks for wasting what little vacation time I have Adelphia. But I should have know better that to expect them to be on time for an appointment. Hope they go under...........Maybe next time I call and make an appointment and don't show up.........

The Adelphia tech person came out today and fixed the problem. The problem with the digital box was that the line going thru it was connected to an amplifier and the amp made the signal too strong and messed up the feed into the box. Can an amp also mess up the feed to a regular television without going through the box. The tech fixed the problem by bypassing the amp, but I have another TV that is regular cable connected to the amp, and just wondering if the amp will mess up the signal? Cause I have never heard of signal being too strong.

Well Adelphia is coming to install Digital Cable at my house Friday. So I have to take a day off because the best the can do is an "All Day Appointment". Which means they show up when they get there.........Well one step closer to powerstink.
