The inauguration is over and we have a Usurper in office. An empty suit with a pretty face who knew how to work the Internet to his advantage. obama refuses to show his birth certificate, only the COLB that any foreigner can apply for and get.
It's a sad day for America and I will make sure to inform all about Phillip Berg, Esq and his quest to remove obama and replace him with a Natural Born Citizen. 66 million people voted for obama and 66 million were fooled.  There are 300 million people in America and once they awake from the party and realize that obama is never going to represent them properly there will be hell to pay.

There has been a great trick played on America and it may take a while to see and understand it. Chicago is the most corrupt city in America and obama and friends made a mockery out of funding his election with fake contributions from people who don't exist.
The mods on this site LOVE obama and one mod in particular has been riding my ass because I don't think obama is the second coming. Well, I don't have to agree with the blue kool-aid drinkers and I am entitled to my own opinion which won't be changed by deleting my posts or otherwise stifling me. If only some of folks here could read the posts on the 3 other political forums I visit they would shit themselves because the responses have been right-on. |

Got a new box a few weeks ago. P4 3.2gig, 1gig ram, 2 250gig hard drives, 17" LCD Monitor. Damn near stole it from Dell Outlet. Nobody could possibly build this box for what I paid. lol. When I told the Chinese dude who builds computers for me and my friends about the deal, he told me to grab it or else he would! It crunches for Team Disco at an unbelievably fast rate! I may find the cure before the year is out.
The election is over and my guy won. lol. There are some pissed off people on this site now. I had to put a few more a$$holes on IGNORE because they kept bothering me with nasty IMs about our President. Losers all!!! One of them constantly trolls the site for my posts and tries to crap on them. lol. But I know where he lives because he posts his full name and residence on the site. hehe. Nuff said bout that.
My best friend emails me all kinds of freebies and hot deals and I decided to share them with the nice folks at BBR. But there are still some idiots who aren't happy with the freebies and they complain in my threads! Ungrateful bastards. lol. Do they expect me to deliver them to their trailer park? haha.
I've been very busy scouting out a new business opportunity for me and my good friend. We are ready to close the deal any day and we are both very excited! All we need is the former owner's wife to get State Tax clearance from her deceased husband's business and away we go. It'll be nice to double my income. lol. The only problem I have is should I get a new Harley or go Jap? The Valkyrie is a beautiful bike, but they want $24,000 for it. I could buy 2 Hyundais for that amount. I haven't owned a Jap bike since my 1970 Kawasaki 500 2 stroke that did a 12 second quarter mile!!!!
We went Steam Train riding this summer. Wow!!! What fun!!! Gonna do that again next year. There's just something about steam that i love.

With the addition of some new site features like "Level" and "I See People" and others, I was looking through my page and prefs and saw that I had 11 a$$holes on IGNORE. When I unignored the a$$holes I noticed that they all had thousands and thousands of posts (unlike me) and most were of a fairly high level (unlike me). This proves my point about wimps hiding behind a keyboard, because all of these jerks offended me in some way and attempted to portray themselves as intellectuals (but they are far from being smart). I would bet that none of them ever served their country. They were mostly Kerry supporters too, lol.
Anybody can be anything on a message-board and these phony jitbags only prove that anonymity allows them to spout bullcrap without being punished by a fist to the face...yet.
I just bought a used Total Gym from a friend and all i can say is "WOW". Exercising is no longer a chore and is actually as much fun as it was in the old days of the Nautilus machines in West Philly. Fat begone! Tone return!

Tried Diskeeper and found that it works 10 times better than Win XP's defragmenter and 3 times faster than Norton's Speed Disk. I may purchase this software.
I'll need a faster computer soon for my son. Some games won't work on his old P3 450 and the 12 gig HD is running low on space. Had to delete some old crap recently to free up some room for him. Should I buy a pre-built or build another one for him? My friend told me to buy the parts and he will assemble it for free! The problem is that every time I look at parts, I seem to only want the best and the price of the parts is twice what a preconfigured unit from Dell would cost. Plus Dell and the others give away a ton of software with their units. Decisions, decisions. |

It's been a while since I made an entry. Very busy summer and fall. I'm glad it's winter (6.8 degrees Fahrenheit now).
Just to prove the point in my last entry about the racism in the forums I ran into this avatar with a swastika on it. I "Hey Moded" it because I hate Nazis since they killed many of my countrymen but nothing was done. Once again BBR fails in halting racism on the site. Shame on you Justin and Fatness!
Haven't had a smoke in over a year and 2 months and I feel great. Still working out and walking. Put on a total of 15 pounds since I quit, 5 fat and 10 muscle.
Most importantly, I dropped Verizon!!!! After their last runaround with me I told them to either give me the 1500 or say goodbye. They didn't even try! I called Comcast on a Sunday morning and was self installed by the afternoon. So instead of 768 down I must struggle with a newly updated 3000 down from Comcast. lol. I should have left Verizon when cable became available. But now that I have it, I'm sittin' on top of the world.:)

I've been reading quite a few threads that have anti-semitic overtones in them. Some of the idiots posting them seem to be camel jocks and moslem types and others seem to be white power jerks. Hasn't the world done enough to the Jews? Why can't we Americans stand up and take up their cause? It befuddles me. The terror happening there is a precursor of what could happen here! Some of the hateful posters "have dooed there reserch" but can't spell worth a crap. Others feel sorry for the Palestinians who I would like to see return to Jordan, where they belong.
In fact, one of the Jew haters is a Mod who had a posting tag that said "Stop Israel". I think the higher-ups here forced the idiot to remove it or lose his mod status because he made BBR look like they approved of anti-semitism. What a jerk!
What really bothers me is that without Israel in the hands of the Jews, there will be no return of Jesus (the second coming for the Christians) nor will the Jews find their Messiah. If the Moslems have their way Christians and Jews may live in Moslem countries without converting but Eastern religions, such as Hinduism and Buddhism, must convert or die.

Verizon. AHHHHHH! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!
I called Presidential Appeals (aka Chronic Troubles) on the advice of Tech Support. After 2 hours on the phone with them including a 3-way call with Tech Support, I was told to call SALES and ask for a Manual Upgrade. While on the phone I took notes from both Tech and Chronic and learned a few things. Verizon test provisioned some of their own employees to a distance of 25,000'. All worked well up to 18,000' and line degradation began after that. There is a RULE about the 12,000' distance which is supposed to not allow anyone to receive the 1.5 upgrade through normal provisioning such as Billing or Tech Support.
I feel that I get the runaround whenever I talk to Verizon coupled with doublespeak. I gotta get off my butt and do something about this while it still bothers me.lol

Damn Verizon.:( They kept telling me 5 more days when the upgrade order was rejected by their computers twice. When I asked for a manual upgrade I was told it would be done on 5/16/03 and a Tech Support Supervisor would call me. lol. Joke's on me cause I believed them. I will take every opportunity to badmouth this company since they have lied to me too many times.
I'll be sending my Team Discovery Project Hope donation to Kristi soon to help defray the costs of the crunchers and I urge all to do the same. It is possible that through this research we may help find a cure. On an aside, our Captain posted about a former member of BBR and TD who, once again, is trying to get members to leave BBR and our wonderful team. Yo stupid, we know who you are and what you're about. Fool.  Go away and get a life!!
I found some old pictures of myself from the late 60's and early 70's. Gonna take them to the Digital Imaging or Graphics forum to fix them up a bit. |

Called Verizon today (again) to try to upgrade my DSL from 768 to 1.5. After doing a loop test the CSR told me that it couldn't be done due to "Copper coiled wires that are messed up underground". She said I was close enough though! lol. I asked to speak to a Tech and she was kind enough to patch me through. The Tech did another loop test and told me that I was too far away from the CO, 13,000 feet. Then I asked for the MLT test!! He told me to hang up and he would call me after the test is completed. A few minutes later he said he will hook me up to 1.5 although there may be some degradation in the line and I may not receive the full 1.5. But because it is a free upgrade I went for it and now I must wait 5 days for the order to go through!!:):)
Team Discovery is looking good. We are about to launch a Crunchenstein type project. Also a bunch of ex-members of the TSC project rejoined after their team went belly up. I don't think that the a$$hole who called Team Disco members a$$holes returned. A lesson for them: never burn your bridges!
And we got some new pets, the ever-exciting Hermit Crabs. |

Thank the lord that the snow is finally gone.:D Was able to walk for about 3 miles today with my son and the dog. Found a few good new forums here the past couple weeks and some are interesting although not broadband related, such as Health and Fitness. Maybe I can learn some things and perhaps pass along some of my knowledge of the past 26 years of staying fit through diet and exercise.
Reinstalled XP Pro as i was having some problems not answered in the M$ Knowledge Base and now it works flawlessly. My broadband connection is running like it should and all is well in Computerland.........

Over 10 weeks without a cigarette, and no more cravings. Still walking a lot with the dog and working on my upper body at home. Since I am a Cub Scout Den Leader I must be a role model for the kids so I am trying to get all of them to exercise. They have seen the difference in me after quitting smoking and exercising and hopefully they will take that info with them forever.
My Minolta DimageX fell from my hand as I was out in the snow walking the dog and taking pictures. Broke the shutter release button. Now I must return the camera to the factory for repair. I will be lost without it!!  But wait: my T-Mobile Motorola t720i cell phone with the camera attatchment comes to the rescue. Or I can borrow my son's RCA CDS 1005 digi cam that I bought for him when he was 7.
Checked with Speakeasy about their 1500/128 dsl plan and they say I qualify. Now I must call Verizon and ask them why Speakeasy says I am qualified for the faster plan but Verizon says i am not. |

Haven't had a smoke in 2 weeks and 1 day but I have had the sniffles for the past 2 days. Sudafed works but it knocks me out so I can only get relief before I go to bed.
I changed my mind about which project to which I should devote both computers and chose United Devices LigandFit project over TSC. TSC overheats my P3 450 and the Temperature Alarm goes off. Must be too many progs running in the background. If the UD project ever ends I will switch the P4 1.8 to TSC and find another crunching project on BBR for the old unit.

Woo Hoo, 1 week and no smokes!! My son, my friends, family and my employees tell me that I'm irritable (more so now than usual). Screw them............NOT! lol
Began cardiovascular and isometric exercises along with stretching to prepare for the weight lifting bench soon. Gotta be able to bench twice my weight again and I will allow 6 months of training for this goal. Currently can only bench 290lbs so I got a long way to go.
After meals and/or coffee I miss the smokes most. Breathing exercises work sometimes.

| I quit smoking TODAY!!! Been contemplating this since October 20th when I began taking Zyban and set my quit date. I take two Zyban and one 21mg Nicotine patch daily for about five weeks and then slowly lower the Nicotine level in the patch until I become Nicotine free. Now I have changed my daily habits to avoid the things I did when I felt I needed a smoke, like browsing the Broadband Bookmarks and posting in Team Disco among other things. Since I smoked about ten cigs a day, I figure I will heal my lungs and heart and save $700 per year. A new Beginning for me!!!!!!!!!! |
