actually you would just put another hub into one of the ports on their DSL modem/hub/router
to use all static IPs if you wanted
at this point 2 is all I need (ip's) and if I go with speakeasy, still leaning there, theirs is just a DSL modem, bridged connection so I'd have to run from DSL modem into an old 3com hub I have, and then from that to both pc's but each PC could still be configured with thier own static IP
I wouldn't have to use the POS dlink 701 router I have, like the early SWBELL days where I only had one ip, and it was dhcp -- Alan Falk |
