There were link problems that were corrected, but it can take hours till all the traffic balances itself out. My ping was still 3x higher than it normally was, but its much better than around 10pm. |

| There are people who are having real major slow downs and it's nothing to do with the problem Lippy explained. These slow downs have been going on for 2 weeks now. Unless this is the cause for the last 2 weeks and it's fixed, Great!
My ping to Yahoo last night at 12:35am was 107ms. |

| reply to bstephens Pretty much everyone would have been affected by the problem last night. If you weren't directly affected by the link being down then you would've noticed a little more traffic as the downed link traffic was diverted to the others.
As for problems of the last 2 weeks....nothing concrete has been identified as a problem or, more importantly, as a common problem. Personally I have not noticed any difference in my connectivity nor have my friends (who are quite vocal when it comes to this) complained to me so while you might be having a problem I suggest we do some investigations before handing this over to the generalization that this is a network wide problem. |
