All of NewEdge DSLAM's are from Newbridge. Newbridge was acquired by Alcatel a couple of years ago.
We have customers with good condition loops 15,000' in length holding 768/768.

| Re: Britsys convince me! Do the Newbridge DSLAM's have that advantage against covad's dslams in adsl mode as well? If so, I'll recommend that he goes through a newedge isp (he's leaning more towards adsl right now). Also, where would he be routed if he were to go through britsys, as stated earlier, he's in the bakersfield area. | |

| Re: Britsys convince me! Lasker,
If he has PacBell available in his area he should go for that, especially if he can find an independent ISP that sells PacBell in his LATA.
Our POP is in Portland Oregon, most users in Northern California are about 16 to 20 ms to the gateway, ADSL-LS may be slightly higher than the SDSL.
