Going to Speakeasy

I know it's over Covad provisioned lines....but I'm going for the $90/month Speakeasy GAmer

best speeds I can get

1500/384

so basically HALF each way of what my ION / BIZ DSL is

covad direct 1500/384 was $80, but with speakeasy they gave me a free xbox, premium access to "Fileshack" downloading, and it's a touted low ping gamer type network

my ftp will just have to suffer with half the upload, cause I don't want to drop the $350 for a nexlan pro800 turbo dual wan router, and another $95/month for "business" cable (UP TO 3500/384....LOL it's comcast so I LAUGH at those UP TO speeds)

back to the real slow world soon
speakeasy is provisioned...just waiting on self install stuff

OH..speakeasy was $99 rebate on the equipment, and self install is free, plus a 25 day trial period, before I"m locked in for a year

At least I"ll have BOTH for the month of november

1500/384 is the FASTEST offering I could get out of my SWBELL ILEC CO here in Olathe

hell , even SWBELL only offers 1500/256

I am WAITING for EVEREST!
They are in Shawnee and Overland Park now, but not even started laying cable/fiber in Olathe.

Their TOP plan is $130/month, but that gives you FULL DIGITAL cable, with movie channels (like pick HBO, or Cinnemax, or whatever) full feature one line local phone service
and the TOP broadband, which they say is 3Mbps, I think they claim both UP and down, but I have yet to confirm this with anyone that has it
