Here's the site: »www.everestgt.com/ If you live in an area served by Comcast, Everest will not be coming to your area. I just looked at the offering of channels. Why can't Comcast offer us more?????????????????

Yeah would love to see some competition here. I am not surprised that Comcast doesn't want that competition.

I pay for cable (including digital cable - three digital cable boxes for three TVs) and high speed internet.

Could be many different reasons. Dunno about TW but Comcast is a very tough competitor. Just look at the overbuilders who've tried to compete with Comcast and you'll see how difficult it is. Maybe call up Everest and ask them how they made this decision. Maybe call your LFA and tell them to do what it takes to bring a competitor to your area.

By the way, what's included in your $145/mo fee?

I just got done reading an article in the KC Star about the newest cable company, Everest, here in the KC area. Everest is going into areas served by Time Warner but will has no plans to come into areas served by Comcast. Anyone know the reason behind this?? Comcast needs some major competition. It really angers me that I pay $145 a month when the other cable companies offer more.

Thanks,
Kristi
