You can make it REAL fast... setup your machine so it's an FTP server, edit the HOSTS file so ftp1.optonline.net is 127.0.0.1 and get TEST64 off your hard drive.

HOW THE HECK DID YOU GET SPEEDS LIKE THAT!!!!!!!!! I can only download that test at like 530kbs. And on speakeasy tests I get like 4600.

The "tests" are fake. Nobody gets those speeds.

I applied my famous "Howie's RWIN speed tweak"....
Actually, Shark is correct .... The highest speeds you'll ever see on OOL are about 1.08-1.11 mB/s. (Motorolas may show higher "spikes", but those are an anomaly unique to that MODEM and not your actual download speeds.)
