The test64 file is a text file. 56kb modems do compression which is why you see the higher then normal speeds when downloading the file.
Don't know if the modem would interpret test64.exe differently, in the same directory, but maybe try that.
As for your other speeds... what OS are you running, what Java, how fast a PC, etc.

| I have 3 PC in the house . Just got NR041..so the OOL FTP test speeds are fine. All use XP. Just intalled SP1 so the Java versions are also the same. Speeds: 750MHX,1.2GHZ,2.5GHZ. What speed test is more accurate Speakeasy or OOLFTP?
