It's called: Salesperson out of touch with reality.

Better end of days irony:
Sprint, because of their completely SNAFU'ed back-end systems, has always had two accounts for my ION service. This has persisted for more than two years despite repeated attempts to get it straight. It's been a source of constant problems and has firmly embedded in my mind Sprint's administrative incompetence.

However, it does have one benefit: apparently Sprint is giving the $400 credit to both accounts. I'll believe it when I get the dollars.

Well, I got one refund credit applied to one account. I had stopped paying that account as soon as the announcement came that Sprint Biz was shutting down. The credit wiped out what was due on that account.

The other credit is still being debated. I've called Sprint several times about it, but whenever the rep looks at my account the entry is so confusing and messed up they simply reply "I have to get back to you on this." Of course, they never do.

I just received a $400 rebate check from Sprint. It took a number of days of calling, but I finally got the rebate. With that, my Sprint ION file will be closed. It was great while it lasted.

One by one, the accounts will be closed and a great part of history will be gone.

Sure wish those "good things to come" would have made it to a reality.... Loved my ION service... SBC DSL just not the same as the ultra fast connection we all loved!!!!
ION RIP......

Further (final?) irony: A few weeks after getting a 400 rebate check from Sprint over the termination of my Sprint Biz DSL, I got a notice from a collection agency for $69 due on my Sprint Biz DSL account. They're going to have hard time convincing me of the validity of this request.
