| Do you have a virus scanner? If so, make sure that it's up to date, and do a full scan of your entire HD (include every file.) It sounds like a virus to me, trojans usually are used to take control of a computer. Viruses do their damage on the local computer. If you have windows XP or ME, you can try a system restore in addition to a through virus scan. Remember, even if the virus scanner can't remove what you have, you should be able to find out how to kill it on a site like Norton's. But you need to know the name of what's infecting you. -- "Exhilaration is that feeling you get just after a great idea hits you, and just before you realize what's wrong with it." | reply to lxAstrosxl Well if you formatted 2 days ago, then you have a backup of everything, right? If so, your best bet is to format, and re do your computer again. Once you set yourself up again, get a virus scanner! It's a necessity. And keep it up to date. -- "Exhilaration is that feeling you get just after a great idea hits you, and just before you realize what's wrong with it." |
