| reply to metal1 Go to the lightpath site and do some reading on BOOL. It says that with BOOL you need the license to hook up a router and share the connection. That must mean on OOL a router is against the TOS.
Multiple Users
More than one user on a modem, requires the purchase of the Business Class Optimum Online "Multiuser Option".
The Multiuser License Option allows gives the customer the right to legally connect a network to modem. Additional hardware, installation and support to network more than one computer to a modem is the sole responsibility of the customer. At this time, Lightpath does not sell, recommend, install or service routing or network equipment for the Business Class Optimum Online Service. |
