So, from that, I gather they are relying on the computer to cycle through the ads and play them...
Gosh, if they can't compress and play an ad in a tiny little window without having it freeze up... god only knows how bad their satellite service is going to be.

Call Cablevision and ask them about their system. 
They might not tell you though. 
You can always try to start the call like this. "Hello, this is Charles Dolan."

I remember that channel sometimes had a menu on the screen, along with the mouse cursor the whole day without any ads. Did not look like Windows platform... |
