| UD Monitor 2.11 Just wanted to let everyone know that UD Monitor 2.11 was released and it has a great new feature.
First off, let me explain what UD Monitor is for those that don't know. It is a small utility that allows UD users to cache work units (WU's) on their hard drive in case there is an outage in order to not lose any down time. Basically it installs multiple agents on your hard drive (as many or as few as you wish) and it switches each agent after a wu completes to the oldest unit.

Now time for the new feature that I think is great in version 2.11...
It allows you to run another program when it runs out of cached work units so if there is an outage, and UD Monitor crunches through all the WU's, you can run TSC automatically.
You can configure it through the Settings/.exe To Run menu.
The following is the list of bugs fixed and new features with 2.11 and 2.1 which was released the day before.

Fixes
•UD Monitor does not remember its position and size when using the "Always On Top" option, or if you move and/or resize the window and shutdown Windows without closing UD Monitor, as reported by Orbi-tel, lftsilverlining and mshige.
•"Pressing F12 on any tab now switches to the "Cache" tab and initiates "Send/Receive" didn't work, as noticed by mshige.

New Features:
•Main window of UD Monitor is now resizeable.
•An option to change font of the lists on the "Backup" and "Log" tabs.
•Pressing F12 on any tab now switches to the "Cache" tab and initiates "Send/Receive", as suggested by Alan Pearmain.
Fixes
•The filename field on the ".exe to run" was resetting to empty, as noticed by WilhelmGGW and Nobody
•Testing playback or execution of files specified on the "Actions" tab now works regardless of the "Disable All" checkbox.
•Workaround for Windows 95 support re-added. This seems to be required on some configurations of Windows 98. You'll see a label "Win95 Mode" at the bottom of the "Settings" window when it's active. Thanks for testing to fjames.
Changes
•"Status" tab renamed to "UD Agent".
•"Run Agent" button renamed to "Run", "Stop Agent" renamed to "Stop".
•Option "Use protein detection fix" removed.
•"Detect aborted WUs" now enabled by default(on new installations)
With the new release of the Think module that powers the UD agent, the servers are likely to be swamped so people may want to download UD Monitor.

I tried to dl, but got an error, i.e. not a file Quick Time understands. I thought my player might be corrupt, so I ripped & rebuilt w/ the same result. Any ideas? Possibly not compatible w/WinME? :P |

| It's not a quicktime file. It's a zip file with an exe inside of it. Check your file associations.
