naaa a real gaming rig, start with a nice smooth antec 1080AMG or 1040B II, add a true intel motherboard built with either intel i845PE or i850E chipsets, 1gig+ ram ddr333/400(look up on samsung, thats who corsair uses for their XML overclockers ram, or crucial/micron)or use rdram, p4 2.4-3.06, nice WD caviar SE 7200rpm 8mb buffer HDD, a gainward gf4 ti4200-ti4600 Golden Sample, and add a nice 850+cfm squirrel cage with a K&N 1000+cfm rated filter blowing over the processor and vent the case with some fat 120mm 150+cfm exhaust fans running your favorite distro of linux/bsd/solaris/unix or whatever you prefer......you can get some real performance outta that beast |
