I went with August.net-7100K down/768K up. It is just as fast if not faster than Sprint ION and cost is about the same.
Leechin off the old Earthlink News was Snail pace compared to August's Giganews NNTP.

| I think August serves just the Dallas/Fort Worth Area for Residential Accounts. One has to setup service thru Verizon or SBC for the "Line" to August. So you get one Bill from the ILEC and one from the ISP.
The 7M/768K Verizon Line has to be to an ATM provisioned CO. The NYC and DFW areas are the only ones offering this right now. Might just be a "Test Market".
