How many repeaters needed?

How many lines can a repeater handle?

I'm far enuff away that I have to have a repeater. But I still pay for one repeater if I have a 64k line or a 128k line.

What happens if I want a 256k line? Does one repeater still handle it?

an ISDN repeater that the telco would deploy would be for a 128k isdn line. It would efectively double the normal range of 18500 kf or about 3.5 miles to about 7 miles. 256k service would either be 2 ISDN lines bonded together (which would be 2 repeaters) or It could be Fractional T1 via HDSL which would be repeatered at 3.5 miles. but this is not ISDN.
