No I'm not, and based on my last read of the TOS, it is against their policy to allow for an open hotspot. However, they are encouraging people to share the connection amongst their own computers within their house using wireless networking. -- DRM == Doesn't Read MP3s |

| reply to pnh102 You're not implying that Comcast is endorsing Wi-Fi hotspots, are you? I thought that was against their TOS. I do know that they have that home networking pilot going on in some areas of the country where you get 2500/256 and a Linksys wireless hub and a handful of extra IPs so that you can Internet enable your entire house. -- Who is General Failure and why is he reading my hard drive? |

Funny really.

| If you hear the Comcast HSI-sponsored "Internet Tech Reports" on the local Philly news radio station (KYW-1060AM), you will hear them actively encouraging people to install wireless networks. They even tell you places you can buy the stuff. -- DRM == Doesn't Read MP3s |
