| Why Pro-rate?
Ok, my first bill for Nov. had arrived. Why Golden has to charge me pro-rate...don't understand how they came up with the amount. Why didn't they just charge me for one whole month. Been with two other service providers before they all charge one month advance membership. |

| you're complaining because you were charged less???? the formula is simple
(days in month-activation date)/(days in month)*monthly fee.

| they usually like to charge you on the 1st of a month etc so that all customers pay on the same day. its easier to keep track of everyone and sending out bills etc... but im sure that for a week after billing dates that they have extra staff on hand for the customer service! -- i gave up my 5000/480, then 128/64 connection because it had a 6/2 limit. cruised the summer on a 2500/128 videotron line, and a month on a 44/30 line. now back on shaw, a 2300/480 a connection that i can't really use... |
