no im using outlook express with the news server as NNTP (that was the tech at adelphia told me to set it as and it has always worked in the past.) |

Well I used news3.news.adelphia.net instead of just NNTP and its not showing and posts for 12/5 yet either. All posts stop on 12/4. |

How about news1.news.adelphia.net or news2.news.adelphia.net ? Do either of those have newer posts?

clubs: | Not in the know,but I would assume redundant servers whether they are news or mail are needed in case of overload or failure

I was having the same problem with my news, I changed it to news1, and it worked for me too. Thanks Mac  !

I have the same problem too. Nothing on news3, but news1 works. I hope news3 comes back soon.

on a newsgroup topic.... can anyone do a little favor for me and tell me how many binary groups are there in adelphia's news servers?
im a potential adelphia customer and newsgroups is a big part of my ISP usage.

I wouldn't bother since a lot of binary posts are incomplete.  Get yourself a reliable news server subscription from another provider.
