| reply to SanFrancisco If you have AOL for your ISP, and you want to connect to a web site or game server hosted by Cogent, you're screwed: The packets have to take some circuitous path which will kill your game ping and make web sites very slow to load.
AOL'ers should complain to AOL if you frequent Cogent-hosted servers. (My team's web/game server, »matureasskickers.net/, is Cogent-hosted, and we have a few team members using AOL.) |
