ATA 186 with wireless access point

Is it possible to use ATA 186 with a wireless access point so that it doesnt always have sit next to DSL modem (which in turn has to sit next to a telephone jack).

clecrupt,
Are you using D-Link DWL-810 with ATA-186 or was that just a suggestion? In any case anyone using this or similar device please send in your comments.

My problem is right now DSL modem has to be close to a telephone jack --> router has to be next to DSL modem --> ATA 186 has to next to router. and all these devices and their adaptors and phone and ethernet cables are creating such mess that I am sure all those wires are interfering with my wireless router signal.

With this device you can put the ATA anywhere in range of an accesspoint. It is the only "wireless ethernet card" I know of that does not need a computer. You plug the ATA in and go wherever, even outside. You know I guess you could even hit "hotspots" like this. Hmmmm there must be money in that somehow.

Having the cover off your CPU, as I discovered, can also cause problems.
