| Software version of Cisco ATA 186 ?
I'm trying to use iconnecthere with a NAT. As I stated in a couple of topics back it doesn't get my real ip address and hence I can't get incoming calls. My question is if a Cisco ATA can be configured to use iconnect's service, is there any software that has the same configurations and hence might work with iconnecthere's service ? The Cisco detailed config instructions are at the following site FYI:

| I was never able to get the ATA186 to work with incoming calls with the configuration that IConnectHere posted on the website. I had to mess around with the config myself.
I even had to specify my IP in the config file of the ATA. And I am running the most recent version of the ATA firmware.
But after some fenagaling and some luck I was able to get it to work. Try to call tech support about why their posted config didn't work only made them scratch their head and escalate the issue to people who probobly don't exist or are too swamped. -- Get $40 for signing up for Vonage Digital Voice (Unlimited Long Distance) INSTANTLY |
