Does anyone out there have Wingate 5, and will be willing to copy it and send it to me. If so, reply to this.
Thanks.

Im a noob, when it comes to networking computers, routers and all.I just got the whole setup going but i cant seem to get wingate to send any signal to my ps2. I hope i didnt forget something. Im using a crossover cable from my ps2 to my computer. My computer is hookup from my lyncis router to the aol cable modem. I was wondering if anyone knew the proper setup needed for Wingate, so i can get my ps2 online.

I'm sure someone here will help you out very shortly. In the meantime, please, unlock those CAPS - makes it very hard to read and here at BBR (and most other places) all caps is considered SHOUTING! And while I'm sure you feel like shouting for help, it hurts the ears eyes to have to read much of it.

P.S. Welcome to BBR. Really

Re: AOL - PS2 ONLINE PROBLEM FINALLY SOLVED!!! :-)

Just to give you guys a heads up, I was terribly excited to hear about a solution to my AOL/PS2 conundrum. However, after following the instructions at the outset of this thread, I wasn't able to connect. After beating my head against a wall, I decided to go to the wingate support page. There, in the system requirements, I found that wingate requires a second network card when using a broadband connection. I installed this 2nd network card with an internal address (192.168.0.1), and that solved my problems. I've been connecting PS2 through the NAT feature in wingate since, and living happily ever after.

Hope this helps,
Kevin Main

I'm using a cable modem as well. The 2nd network card was the way to go for me.

God speed,
