| BellSouth re-routing issues... FYI...
BellSouth is in the process of creating their own mini-backbone in order to use less of the UUNet network. During deployment, users have been shifted around causing higher pings, lower speed results and in some cases lost connections.
BellSouth has not given a time-line for completion either. In the last week alone, BellSouth has added three hops within their network before I dropped off at UUNet.

Update 1/11/03: According to ASG1, an Advanced Solutions Group representative from BellSouth, the routing issues are almost over and the BRIB will be up in the next few weeks. This thread from ASG1 describes the time-line: »Re: Why the different route?
