Anyone who can tell me if an RT is near??

I'm currently in Dallas right now (on Heatherdale and Abrams in North Dallas near Richardson) and am wondering if I will ever be able to get off this CO I'm on.

I have the 1500/128 plan, but due to my distance of around 13,000 ft from the CO......I have to be capped at 768k and currently see speeds of 650/135.

I'd love to be able to switch to a RT at some point so I can actually experience my connection to its fullest, but I don't know how to tell if one is in the area and up or if one is in the works.

Anyway to be notified when one is actually up and ready?? Or can anyone here take my location and figure out if one is in the area or in the process of being put in my area?

I can PM someone my phone number if needed...please let me know.

Thanks

I've been told that we'll get some sort of notification when (if) an RT is installed or DSL-enabled that would improve service. I'm in Far North Dallas, Preston and Frankford, and my speeds are (at best) half of yours. I feel your pain.

I'm on an RT that sits at the intersection of Whitehurst and Greenville.

I tried to find out about an RT in my neighborhood since I am 10.600 ft from the office. I was told they can't give out that information. Then they told me it was illegal to ask. Yes for both the security of the RT (yes the RT) and national security you can't ask about it.
WTF ???
Seems that anyone in any type of service has been watching too much Tv.

Well I then told the person ok I won't ask all I will ask is can you get me closer to improve my speeds?
NO
IF you will have your service disconnected and then call for NEW service we can put you on a list but its no guarantee that you won't be hooked back up where you are now.

sparks, why don't you IM Arelay See Profile Monday, I'm pretty sure he can look up if there is an RT close to your location. You'll have to IM your DSL Phone number for him to do that.......just a thought!
