Problem #2: Email

Now that I have my line working, I'm trying to get my email to work using Outlook 2002. I have all of the pop/smtp servers set correctly, have the outgoing server settings (authentication required) done correctly, but when I test the account settings, I get this message:

>

Obviously, I have the correct email address in there.

These are the servers I'm using: pop.sbcglobal.yahoo.com and smtp.sbcglobal.yahoo.com

Anyone else having this problem?

Working fine now. Don't know why, but it is. Thanks to everyone for their help!

Still looking to tweak my speeds higher, especially the upload speeds.

Re: Problem #2: Email

Upload speeds are more or less fixed and can't really be tweaked higher. Higher upload speeds require an upgrade in your DSL service package. There may be an exception to this rule if you use a recent version of Navigator.

rdstoll, Barsoom is correct at this time there really isn't anything you can do for tweaking your upload speeds, that is strictly determined by your provider and have to just live with it.
