I can't stress what ATech says enough.... don't use connection manager.... it's the biggest load of crap ever produced....
The first time I saw Connection Manager warn "This could take up to 7 minutes" I thought "WTF".

Change nothing. You can choose not to install software in the migration, also.

I wish I had read your post before I installed migration I am know having trouble sending and sometimes receiving email with Express and Outlook 2002. Netscape seem to get mail ok.

Now, I can't access any of my secondary account's email. I can get email with my primary account.

Eeeek!
You have to go into "My Account" from the SBC Yahoo homepage and import the sub accounts. Problem is (at least for me) is after the 7 - 15 times it takes for me to log into the homepage, I get "This page cannot be displayed" for almost EVERY link on it!!

Man, I should have NEVER upgraded... Connection manager doesnt work either!
Yea, I bet this influx of new people is overloading the servers. That'll shape up soon, I'm sure. Don't use Connection Manager. It sucks.

I've been through all this. I'm just waiting for all of this stuff to go through the queue. They are a bit backed up right now.

This is nothing new. They have never been able to run a proper server... Although setting up a monster for a one-off migration project doesn't make much sense either.

I went to that URL.

Attention: Ameritech.Net Members

Thank you for your interest in SBC Yahoo! DSL. Due to the overwhelming interest in this new service, we are experiencing a delay in registering our members on the new service. Please try again tomorrow.

Sure gives me the warm fuzzy that their migration servers can't keep up with demand. What else in their infrastructure can't?

Good lord...something about the server mess on the "status" page.

The world has ended.
Wow! Never thought I'd see anything but "normal" on there.

He wants to be logged into two different accounts at the SAME TIME. He does not want to have to sign out from one to sign into the other.

What's the big deal, it takes seconds to sign out of one and into another...I think it would be a pain to shut down one browser and open another...

Maybe I'm missing something...It wouldn't be the first time..;) ...

That's what we're saying, Kcazzie. That the only way it can be done is with separate browsers.

Maybe this is semantics, I don't change browsers, I just change sign-inns...I don't considered this different browsers...Then again you may be right, I just don't considered this separate browsers... ...

Edit; Ok I get it, you can also use different browsers...Duh...

Kthansen wanted to be logged into both accounts at the same time but in different windows.

Can you do this...I don't think so...I may be wrong...Wait I can login into my new Yahoo account and still have my old Yahoo messenger working...But that's different then having two windows with different accounts opens...

I believe the reason you can’t be logged on to both accounts at the same time is that they are trying to use the same cookie. My work around is to use a different browser for each account.

Hmmm, I don't use different browsers...I can login into one account and if I want to login into my other Yahoo account, I just sign out and sign into the other...With NO problem...

I not sure if this is what your asking...?...

Oops, this was for kthansen See Profile...

Separate browsers is, indeed, the answer. Or else log out of one before you log into the other.
