Available software to download includes SBC Connection Manager, the SBC Yahoo! browser, and the SBC Dialup Connection Manager. All are optional.

|  Ugh....all done, stupid radio buttons. Oddly enough I went to launch Outlook and it asked me if I wanted to import a new account. So I guess it updates Outlook as well as Outlook Express.
BTW, the servers are:
POP: pop.ameritech.yahoo.com
SMTP: smtp.ameritech.yahoo.com

It sounds like you logged on with your User Name. Yo have to log on with the Sub-Account User name to properly migrate it.

Right, kind of. You attempt to log in, and then it brings you to the Yahoo, can't find your user name or password page. You enter the username and password again, as well as typing in some word into an edit field, and then it brings you to the migration page. Weird workflow. |

I'm good now. I just had to work that convoluted workflow to get there.
My initial impressions are good. Aside from that subacct thing, the migration seemed to go well.
My only complaint so far is that now I'm a paying customer. I shouldn't have to look at advertising on the Yahoo webmail page anymore. That's just aggravating as hell. |

I was able to set up my email, but I'm not receiving any email. I've sent myself several test messages from different accounts, but haven't gotten a single one so far.
Am I scaring anyone away from upgrading?  |
